Tonna perdix is a large marine gastropod mollusc of the family Tonnidae, found in Indo-Pacific oceans. The mantle is dark brown, with random radial streaks of white.
It emerges from sand at night to search for its prey, holothurians. Empty shells are commonly inhabited by hermit crabs
Height is up to 200 mm.
