Team Dignitas is an International e-Sports team which is headquartered in Great Britain and which is among the best British clans. It was founded on the 9th of September 2003 as a fusion of the Battlefield 1942 clans Legion Condor and Sweden Kompanix. Thus the clan was a pure Battlefield clan in the beginning. By and by, however, more teams were added to the organisation, in July 2004 Team Dignitas was registered as a company: Team Dignitas Ltd. Managing Director and thus man in charge of the clan is Michael 'ODEE' O'Dell.

In August 2006 the Call of Duty 2 team was elected the third best team in Europe by Cadred.org. Also in 2006 the Battlefield 2 team was chosen as the Battlefield 2 Team of the Year by Geeksnet.org. In May 2007 CSSNation.net ranked the Counter-Strike: Source team second in Europe. In the same month the british scene page UKCounterTerrorist.com put the Counter-Strike 1.6 team as number one in Britain. By winning the first official international Enemy Territory: Quake Wars tournament at QuakeCon2007 the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars team gained the fame as the best team in the world. In August 2007 the French französische site Majestic 24/7 chose the World in Conflict team as number one in the European Summer Ranking. The World in Conflict team of Team Dignitas was also nominated for the eSports Award 2007 as "eSport Team of the Year".
