Rodney Waschka II is an American composer. His work has been perfomed all around the world including:International Computer Music Conference, the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the US festival, 2001 NewMusic@ECU Festival, [1] Fourth Annual UNCG New Music Festival, The 15th International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) [2] [3]the World Saxophone Congress in Montreal, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Sheremetev Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, the International Review of Composers in Belgrade, the Purcell Room in London, and the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid.

He studied at the Institute of Sonology, The Royal Conservatory of The Netherlands, Brooklyn College, and earned his Ph.D. at the University of North Texas. [4]

Currently, Rodney Waschka II is Professor of Arts Studies at North Carolina State University [5] and he is the director of the North Carolina Computer Music Festival. [6]
