Stiliger felinus, now known as Ercolania felina, is a minute black species of sacoglossan or sap-sucking sea slug. It is a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Stiligeridae.
Distribution
This minute sacoglossan slug is endemic to New Zealand, on the east coast of the South Island.
Habitat
It is found in tide pools.
Description
This tiny slug has two rows of heavy cerata, or club-like appendages, down each side of the slender body. The general coloration of this animal is black, with a paler foot.
Its length is up to about 10 mm.
