The Hand Sack is a skill toy and game. It is a sand filled "Hand Sack", it's most common shape is about 3 x 1.5 inches (10 x 4 cm) in size. The "Hand Sack" is tossed and caught mainly on the back of the hands, but also in any number of ways. Any surface of the body can be used, except... No Palms Allowed. Myachi the Hand Sack is said to be a mix between "Martial Arts (see Myachi-Fu","Contact Juggling" and "Footbag" (hacky sack).
The point of the game is to toss the sack on the back of your hand without letting it hit the ground. Games include big air, seeing who can catch the highest toss, and best trick, seeing who can perform the best tricks with the "Hand Sack". Tricks include catching the sack on your head or foot, tossing under the leg or behind the back, or moving your hand around the sack while it's in the air. You-Tube and sites recommended below have tons of cool free tricks over the internet. Great and easy way to learn.

The concept of catching objects on the back of the hands goes far back... from a famous actor in the 30's, to other cultures, or Micheal Moshen with contact juggling in the 90's. The Footbag Pros have always done it, when sitting or warming up a routine. In the 90's 2 names tried... Sacassi and Myachi, one succeeded and we never hear about the other. Hard to start a new concept!
The Myachi Hnad Sack, has its roots at Vanderbilt University where Steve Ochs tossed a lighter around on the back of his hand with friends. Eventually Ochs decided to stitch an old wallet around the lighter and the first Myachi was born. After graduating he put Myachi aside to work as a stock broker. He quickly worked up to a six digit salary, although that didn't make him happy. So in 1997, at the age of 25 he quit his job. He researched all of the past phenomenon from the Frisbee to the Yo-yo. Soon he had designed and bought fabric for the Myachi. 10,000 Myachi later and countless hours on a friend’s sewing machine, Ochs was well on his way.

The Most Famous "Grand Hand Sack Masters"
Big Dog
Sebastien Perron, is an entertainer, hacky sack champion, and school performer. Perron became the Original Hand Sack aka Myachi Master in 1999 but discovered the hand sack well before that under another name or just using hacks! Bringing his Martial Art, Pro-Takraw and Pro-Footbag, School Performer/Juggler and French Marketeer ideas... He pushed the Hand Sack to the next level. Ochs asked Perron to join him and help promote his creation, Myachi Master was to become a title for all, so Perron brought back his "Big Dog" nickname. The name Big Dog, Sebastien's verusdico (Myachi term meaning nickname), is derived from the literal translation of Perron in Spanish. Along with 15" tall liberty spikes colored red, white, and blue, he's easy to spot.
Other original concepts and creations of the Big Dog for the game and sport of the Hand Sack includes; "Myachi-Fu" "Wahssa" "Hand Sack Half-Pipe", "Hand Sack Card game", "Toy Star Hero characters", "Hand Sack Animee", "Fingerchux", "Finger-Belts aka Fingerknugz" and a few more... After a little 8 years running world champion, 2007 brought competition with...Crazy Ivan, Joe The Great, A-Train, MMIT and many more fans helping the Hand Sack Masters spread the good word, and of course trying to get their hands on that title. You-Tube has a tournament every season for that!

Crazy Ivan
Aaron Davies, aka Crazy Ivan, first found out about Myachi when Ochs saw his juggling skills at a concert called Bonaroo 2004 in TN, and showed him what Myachi was. Once he learned about it, he instinctively became attached to Myachi. He is often regarded as the most skilled Master, and is indeed the 'Master of Chux.' On a regular basis, he will prove that he does indeed have the "fastest hands." Also like the Big Dog, Crazy Ivan was a juggler of all trades, or as we like to call ourselves..."Toy Stars". He's also remaking world records one after another with those speedy hands of his!

" Joe The GREAT" In the Game since 2002... He helds 2 of the 3 first official world championship! That says it all!
