The Story
The story begins with Richard gravely wounded. Nicci in an attempt to save his live does a desperate act: using subtractive magic to heal. The only problem is that now Richard is looking for his beloved Kahlan, but no one else has any idea that she exists. This leads Richard across the world in a search for his beloved.
