Runcinidae is a family of medium-sized, sea slugs, marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusks. They are headshield slugs, in the suborder Cephalaspidea.
Description
These are very small slug-like animals. The shell is either a vestigial internal remnant, or is entirely absent.
