Paudge Connolly (born September 23, 1953) is a former Irish Independent politician. He was a TD for the constituency of Cavan-Monaghan. Connolly was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 2002 General Election. He joined with other Independent TDs to form the Technical Group in order to gain speaking rights in the Dáil. He lost his seat in the 2007 general election. He is seeking election in the Irish Senate [1] but he subsequently failed.
