There is a movie being in development for a June 2009 release, titled "Gundala Putra Petir". The movie will involves heavy use of computer effects, delegated to local f/x house called "Clockwork Factory". There will be 4 major action set-pieces, with one involving Gundala and cars chase sequences on the freeway. |

SYNOPSIS An ancient artifact, a powerful ring that granted ultimate powers to it's bearer, is the source of conflict that has been going on for hundred years. Sancaka, a young archaeolog is pulled into the center of the conflict and ultimately became the bearer. He transformed into Gundala, The Son of Lightning, the only one standing in the way of Gazul, the shadowy figure who wants the artifact for his evil purpose. Will Gundala be able to stop Gazul's nefarious plan? It will be answered coming up next year, June 2009. |
