Thermococcus Litoralis is a species of Archea.

Location

Thermococcus Litoralis grows near and around deep-sea smoker vents.

Reproduction

Thermococcus Litoralis tends to reproduce best in tempuratures between 85 and 88 Degrees Celcius[1].Unlike most hyperthermophilic archea, Thermococcus Litoralis doesn’t need sulphur to grow [2].

Industrial Use

Thermococcus litoralis is used as a source of the enzyme DNA polymerase[3].
