Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Administrator instructions

Per this ruling of the Arbitration Committee, administrators may use special enforcement guidelines in ensuring all pages on Wikipedia comply with the biographies of living persons policy. All such actions by administrators are to be logged at this page. Sanctions may only be imposed if the individual has been counselled and warned regarding the biographies of living persons, and their violations of it. This warning must be linked to from the log entry on this page in order for the sanction to be valid.

All such actions by administrators pursuant to this ruling may only be overturned by clear community consensus at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Arbitration enforcement, or by the Arbitration Committee.

All logged sanctions should be accompanied with evidence of the sanctioned editor being counselled and warned, as per the above. Where an action has been reversed or modified, this should be clearly marked, and must be accompanied by evidence of explicit approval from the Committee, or of clear consensus from the community.
