I'm not going to template you since you've been here for a while, but you need to stop attacking other editors. Calling someone a liar, screaming in all caps, constantly telling editors they think they own the article when they disagree with you, etc. If continue after further warning there is a good chance you will be blocked from editing. Take a look at WP:CIVILITY, and try not to become so worked up over everything. Have a good day. Landon1980 (talk) 15:24, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Revision as of 15:24, 18 August 2008

Please feel free to have any relevant discussions with me through this page!

Context

"Dave Gelperin was the chair of the IEEE 829-1989 (Test Documentation Standard)" That is context and so is "William C. Hetzel wrote the book The Complete Guide to Software Testing". Plus both these articles have existed for quite some considerable time. A quick search for both names suggests that neither are joke articles and both were written in good faith. Generally we don't speedy delete an article like this we expand it. But if you do think it needs deleting then it really should be discussed at AFD rather than speedied. "From every SD and AfD that I've seen, "a quick search" (i.e. Google) is not justification for any argument" You are right it's not. However this isn't an argument and if you put it to afd I won't even comment. However, the fact remains that you added an incorrect speedy template (empty) which they were clearly not. I think it would be fair to say that you did this because you were unable to find one that fitted better? In which case you should use this as a cue fro not speedy tagging the article. A prod or an afd would give the author 5 days to address the notability concerns. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 21:43, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page headings...

...use ==2nd level== headings, not =first level=. If you change something into a first level heading, every new thread created will become a subthread of the first level thread. You shouldn't modify other's talk pages in this manner. (Do to your own talk page as you see fit) –xeno (talk) 15:51, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Somone at some stage changed all the level headings on my talk page. Don't worry i will fix it. Please do not try to correct it. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 15:53, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Paramore

No, only YOU discussed it. we all agreed that wasnt reliable-- PXK T /C 15:05, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, the conversations today, oh yes: In the middle of about 5 of your posts today, there was one "not reliable" reply. then you said "I added it" without anyone agreeing they were reliable. Just wait until someone says yes. (Which will be a long time) -- PXK T /C 15:16, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for your gracious comments on the Duty to God Award article. Be well. Ecoleetage (talk) 14:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
