Central Processing Unit, a computer's main processor. The CPU is generally composed of two units: the Control Unit and the Arithmetic and Logic unit(ALU). The control unit is repsonsible for exectuting instructions. The ALU is responsible for calculations and logic operations.


CPU is an acroynm for Central Processing Unit.
