Scott: So she can actually see his body? I thought that…

Rach: Well no. I mean she can see something. So – It’s not completely (Scott: Oh) – doesn’t make him completely invisible.

Scott: I just thought she saw the things kinda floating around in the air with…

Vince: Ambiguous, then?

Rach: She does. But then – But she – But she knows that something’s there.

Scott: OK. But yeah, yeah, I see what you’re saying. She can see the things floating around his head. Kind of.

Vince: It’s ambiguous. It sounds like it’s ambiguous, like….

Scott: Yeah.

Vince: … not sure really if it’s just Luna being weird...

Rach: He doesn’t look like anyone. He doesn’t look like anyone. It looks like, you know, a really small form of flies maybe. Colourful flies, maybe, you know what I mean? It doesn’t – It doesn’t…

Rach: Well they are seen through Spectrespecs, so (laugh)

Vince: Yeah.

Scott: So, the train then, isn’t, um, about to leave. It doesn’t appear it’s pulling out and he gets found, you know, before he’s – you know, off, and gonna miss the feast. It –It’s like she discovers him right away as they...?

Rach: Yeah. Yeah – they’re not to far. I mean they’re – they’re definitely behind everyone else, but they’re not – they’re not superbly behind. Um. They – they make it to the feast. Well they at least – they make it to the announcements….

Scott: Well that – that may be why the gates were open then. (Rach: Yeah) They would be locked if they were later.

Rach: Well – I mean I think they were closed too – they just opened them on their own, which was…

Scott: Oh.

Rach: I guess why I was – I was a little – Why I thought it was a little strange since they could so easily open that gate (Scott: Interesting) you know…

Scott: So, um. I think this was your comment here. A test screening viewer commented on this scene:
I do not remember seeing a lot of blood, but as I said once before, I think the blood might be added in with CGI. But we also experience the stomping from Harry's point of view as though we are lying on the ground and Draco is stomping on us. It was a very effective scene though, although I remember the audience gasping. In the following scene Luna offers to repair his nose, and Harry asks something like, "Have you ever repaired a broken nose before?" so we do know that is was broken. Luna fixes it without a hitch. So…

Scott: Apparently Luna’s a healer in this (laugh)

Rach: But Da – But Harry is nervous about this whole idea, He – He even says “Have you ever fixed any noses before” (laugh), um, and then she says, you know, “Couple of toes” (laugh)

Vince: I think we’ve got, er, Super Luna in this movie, not – (Scott laughs) instead of Pink Power Ranger Hermione.

Scott: Yeah. Little bit like the scene with Hermione with, is it the first movie? When she fixes his glasses or something (Vince: Yeah) he’s a little bit afraid.

Vince: The first and the second movie. Oculus Reparo

Scott: That’s right. Yeah.

Rach: Yeah, but there’s a – there’s definitely a – you get the impression that, you know – That one you can tell that Har – Hermione knows what she is doing. This one you don’t really – you don’t know that it’ll work (laugh)

Scott: Oh

Vince: Oh, yeah, ‘cause its Luna…

Rach: So…

Scott: So, er, the Hogwarts gates, which have never been seen before, um, apparently will be seen this time, due to a comment from a, er, fan set report a while back:
We were shown the Hogwarts gates – they’re in a small clump of trees with the tops lopped off and have blue screen on each side – blue instead of green because of the trees and grass. The spikes on the gate are made of rubber for health and safety reasons. There are huge carved griffins – actually it looks like the picture it’s boars.

Rach: It’s boars, that’s not right – winged boars…

Scott: …on top of the gate columns. They said the CGI will be added later with Hogwarts castle on one side and the trees will be repeated to make the Forbidden forest.
And there’s a shot from the video game which is based on the film that, um, shows the gates. And it is, er, hogs. (laugh)

Vince: Yeah.

Rach: Yeah, and actually there – there’s that other picture that came out too. That other, um, the picture that people think – says is photoshopped. It – It may be, but it looked a lot like what I saw.

Scott: Well, was – was Draco and Filch there then, when they arrived? At – At…

Rach: Yeah.

Scott: Oh, ok.

Rach: Yea. I – If it was a photoshopped – it could very well be photoshopped cos it doesn’t look like Har – his hair is right for that sce – you know for the right year…

Scott: Well Luna looks…

Rach: …it was definitely there. I mean – it was definitely right – right…

Scott: I thought Luna was Tonks at first ‘cause I see a little bit of purple hair in this scene, but yeah. There’s another sh – another um, picture of Harry and Luna at the Hogwarts gates. So – so it may be photoshopped, but still at least the scene that occurs in the film…

Rach: Yeah, and that’s what it looked like.

Meesha: Well it looks like her clothes are different there too.

Rach: Yeah, oh yeah! ‘Cause you can see her on the Hogwarts Express wearing the um – that picture of her with the Quibblers and the Spectrespecs is – is from the Hogwarts Express, so that has to be what she was wearing.

Scott: And I forget. Did you say that Snape does come and met them as he did in the book? Or…

Rach: Yes. Um. (Scott: Ok) But not – he’s not – he doesn’t go to meet Harry, he goes to rescue Draco from Filch who’s trying to confin – trying to confin – con – confiscate, um, Yeah, (Scott: The cane) the cane, yeah, that was, that was, er, Lucius’. So…

Scott: Hm. Well at least we’ve got another scene with Snape.

Rach: Yeah, Snape is there (laugh)

Vince: That’s good to know.

Scott: Yeah. And then, the last thing from this chapter, um, with the opening feast, we have a behind the scenes shot of Dumbledore giving his speech with his glasses actually this time, the half moon spectacles, which is surprising. We don’t see those much – couple scenes throughout now, (Aaron: Yeah, but…) but not much. Um, so that’s cool.

Vince: How often does he wear them in this, er, movie, how often?

Rach: He wears – he wears them more than more then I think in the previous movie, but they’re definitely off…

(Scott laughs)

Rach: McGonagall’s are off too though. You know, McGonagall is supposed to be wearing glasses and she almost never does in the movies, so…

Scott: Yeah.

Vince: At least it’s more than, er, usual. It’s something.

Scott: What is that, um, scene like, er, the Great Hall, er, opening feast scene this time. I don’t think we’ve heard too much about it.

Rach: One one cool think about that scene I – I personally liked it, was um, when um, Dumbledore goes up to that er, to his, his lectern or whatever it is, with that owl there. Um, it’s actually – the owl has its wings down as though is er, standing like a statue. And then when he goes up there to make his speech, it like raises its wings up and like – into that pose that it’s always in when he standing there. You know what I’m talking about?

Scott: Yeah. Right.

Vince: Yeah.

Aaron: Yeah.

Rach: Yeah. So that’s – that was a C – that was a CGI effect that was – that was done. And it was – it looked really cool.

Scott: And does he make the announcement of the, um, the potions changes for Slughorn and…

Rach: Yes.

Scott: …Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions?

Rach: Yes, and – there – there was a little was a little bit of murmuring but there wasn’t a huge uproar or anything about the whole idea.

Scott: Well that’s because…

Vince: Well there is a reaction, though, right?

Rach: There is a reaction.

Vince: OK. Good.

Rach: They were surprised, but It wasn’t – It wasn’t things like, er, (Scott: Yeah) – you know, Harry doesn’t…

Scott: Well they haven’t built it up in the previous movies that, um, you know, Snape is like obsessed with the Dark Arts and – and has wanted this position forever.

Aaron: Well they mention it…

Rach: They do in the first.

Scott: Do they?

Aaron: It’s in the first and the fifth.

Scott: Oh.

Meesha: Yeah.

Aaron: It’s mentioned at least two…

Meesha: It was in Order of the Phoenix too when they (Vince: Yeah) – that he had put, er…

Aaron: During Umbridge’s…

Meesha: Yeah.

Scott: Seems there should be more surprise then. And, yeah. Did you feel like something was missing?...

Meesha: I liked that scene.

Scott: We all wanted…

Rach: Yeah I thought that was missing.

Scott: … the Defence Against the Dark Arts class in. Did you feel that that was something missing in the film?

Rach: You know, strangely no, and I – and it – and the funny thing is that one of my favourite, favourite lines is from that – that class. But I never thought that – that that was – all that crucial, like it didn’t – it – in this movie – it didn’t really matter. Um…

Vince: Well I want it ‘cause of, er, Snape. ‘Cause I want more…

Scott: Yeah. It was just a great – a great - I saw it as being a great scene for exposition for explaining the Inferi, for explaining (Vince: Harry and Snape) non-verbal spells, just –they could have combined those two class scenes from the book into one class…

Meesha: Yeah.

Scott: …and use it to – for exposition.

Vince: Yeah, of course.

Rach: But there’s no non-verbal spells or anything. So, um…

Scott: Well it sounds…

Rach: I – I actually…

Scott: …like they don’t have the spells…

Rach: Well they use them, but never talk about them. (laugh)

Scott: (laugh) Yeah, true.

(Rach laughs)

Meesha: They’ve actually been using non-verbals the whole time, so…

Scott: Yeah

Rach: In fact – in fact it was used a lot during the movie and I couldn’t actually if anything was going to be added later. ‘Cause it seems like there were – there were times that – that there should have been words, like… I – I thought it – And they just didn’t use them at all. But um, and there’s a lot of epic – then again through out the movies there’s always been, like, spouts of magic without wands and weird things like that (laugh)

Scott: Right. Probably just be…

Vince: Why do they even go to school?

Scott: …confusing to the audience if they introduced them now.

Rach: Well, it’s the movie…

Vince: Why do they go to school?

Rach: To entertain us?

Vince: But they don’t learn anything, I don’t think. They already, er, know everything…

Rach: (laugh) Right

Scott: Yeah. Yeah, I’m almost disappointed with the lack of class scenes. I thought they did really well with that in the first couple and having…

Meesha: Yeah

Scott: … you know, the Charms class and all those, but…

Vince: Flitwick – well Flitwick’s like a chore – choir conductor…

Scott: And there’s – and there’s another – there’s also a scene in Transfiguration in this – this book that was, um, a little more in depth that could have been in the movie. They – they could have had more than just the one potions class. And there were multiple potions classes in the book as well.

Rach: Right

Scott: For instance, the one with the bezoar…

Meesha: It would have been cool if they just had, even just – just one class for the different – for the different subjects ‘cause there was something that happened in a lot of them. I mean…

Scott: Yeah.

Meesha: …the – the Herbology thing with Ron and Hermione and um…

Scott: Well…

Vince: That could be, um, moved.

Meesha: Well yeah. Easily move, but that could – but they would add to the – school – feeling of being at school.

Vince: Yeah.

Scott: Yeah.

Vince: The ATMOSPHERE of being at a school.

Scott: Doesn’t seem like they’re at school if there is no classes and they aren’t learning, it’s just…

Vince: Exactly.

Meesha: Exactly. They can move all that stuff to other scenes, but I mean, it would be ein

Rach: And they did move a lot of it to other scenes, but like – like – they moved some of it to other scenes – but like, yeah – I agree, I like the classes, but they didn’t seem to want to hire a lot of actors for this one (laugh)

Scott: Ok, then the last chapter we’re going to discuss this week is chapter 9, The Half-Blood Prince. This is quite a long chapter, it seems. Um…

So, first we have a scene where McGonagall hands out, er, course schedules and Harry decides to continue potions. Um. There’s a quote:
A source from the set today revealed to me that the scene being shot was Professor McGonagall telling Ron and Harry that they can take Potions for their NEWTs. This scene involved 200 extras, ranging from First Years to Seventh Years.

There’s then a shot from the teaser trailer, um, with McGonagall and all the students in a corridor, which probably is part of the above – that shoot that was mentioned.

Rach: (It is)

Scott: Um, and then a test screening attendee describes the scene:
This is the first day of classes. McGonagall spots Harry and Ron along the wall, just chilling, acting like teenage boys, and calls to Harry and asks him what he is doing. He tells her he and Ron have a free period. And she asks him why he isn't in potions. She goes through the same explanation as in the book about how he can take potions now that Snape is not teaching it. That she says something funny, like "go take Mr. Weasley with you, he is enjoying himself a little too much over there." (Vince: I love that) with major paraphrasing.

Rach: It was really funny. That was actually me he wrote that, but…

Vince: Yeah…

Rach: That was really… I actually…

Vince: It sounds so… Yeah, it sounds great.

Scott: Oh, and then another, um, question that crops up related to that I just thought of is er, was there anything about the OWLs or the grades they got or Harry’s ambitions to be an Auror?

Rach: No. No, In fact that was the only mention of the OWLs what so ever that… I was almost surprised they talked about them but didn’t talk about them (laugh)

Scott: ‘Cause I thought they would use the scene when I had heard about it too, just briefly go over how he had ambitions to be an Auror, the grades he got on his OWLs

Meesha: I’m surprised they didn’t include that. (Scott: Yeah) I do like that line McGonagall - That is just such a McGonagall thing to say. (laugh)

Rach: Yeah.

Scott: I guess this is something though (Rach: …) just another thing we’ll be missing from the movies though…

Meesha: I can hear Maggie Smith… Yeah.

Rach: Well, she’s one of the few character’s who in my head when reading the stories I actually picture – I picture her. (Meesha: Oh, Yeah) You know what I mean? And all of them I picture someone slightly different, but not her (laugh)

Meesha: Yeah

Scott: Alright, moving on., er… There was also a small special on Half-Blood Prince from an E! Entertainment show, um, Daily 10. It showed the filming of a scene with Harry and Ron in a corridor as they are walking away after this um, scene we just talked about, and Ron says, er, “But I don’t want to take potions”. And a picture has emerged – a small picture of them. In their, er, actual school uniforms, walking…

Aaron: For once…

(All laugh)

Scott: Yeah, for once (laugh)

Rach: Yeah, that was the scene right afterwards. (Obviously (laugh))

Scott: Yeah. And then er… (Vince: Yeah) Did it go straight from that scene to the first potions class? (Rach: Yeah) Or did it go to the common room? Ok. So then, we got, er, a picture of this potions class was released and we have, er, Hermione, um, Neville, Lavender, er, was that – isn’t that Leanne, and then…

Aaron: It’s Leanne and Katie and Romilda. (Rach laughs)

Scott: …Katie, (Rach: I think that’s Romilda back there) and Romilda Vane. Romilda Vane should not be here ‘cause she’s younger, and (Katie…)

Aaron: But they made her older.

Vince: They’ve changed that for the film.

Scott: (laugh) But, yeah, so they’ve kinda combined all the…

Rach: And how could Neville be there? Neville be there prepared and waiting when Harry and Ron thought they didn’t qualify, after, you know, (Meesha: Yeah) Neville’s experiences in potions.

Scott: Oh and we can (see Dean Thomas…)

Meesha: And Lavender… Is that Pansy Parkinson there at the edge of the picture?

Rach: I think actually it is. I’m not – I can’t tell…

Meesha: I can see green on the robes, so (it’s Slytherin…)

Scott: Question we had: Where is Harry and Ron?

Rach: Um, they’re – er…

Scott: Not seen in this picture?

Rach: Well, I can’t tell who’s right behind Slughorn? Oh, that’s (Blaise)

Scott: That’s Dean Thomas.

Rach: Oh, Dean Thomas.

Scott: Oh, oh, I see. Next to them maybe…

Rach: They’re there though… Blaise has a really sexy voice, um (laugh) but, um…

Scott: But Harry and Ron are in this scene?

Rach: I’m sorry?

Scott: Harry and Ron are in the potions class scene?

Rach: Oh, they’re there, they – yeah – and I think you have a description of it somewhere here (laugh) which is what I said (laugh)

Scott: And they’re all standing in front of, er, (Vince: What is she, er, saying right now?) cauldrons and Bunsen burners, which is quite odd. (Rach: … (laugh) oh,well) And Slughorn, once again, he’s dressed like a, er…

Vince: College professor, er…

Scott: ….college graduate.

Rach: Isn’t it different in Britian, though? (Meesha: Yeah) That’s what I heard…

Meesha: Yeah, the British teachers wear those little hats…

Vince: Yeah, but this is a wizards’ school.

Meesha: It’s a British wizards’ school.

Vince: Yeah, I suppose… What is she saying here is this scene, you know? Hermione…

Rach: I think here’s where she’s probably – she’s probably describing, um, what is it, the Amortentia? With the, um, (Vince: The love potion) Love Potion, yeah.

Meesha: Amortentia? (Rach: Yeah) A – Am – Am – Amortentia? I’m not sure how that…

Rach: According to Jim Dale, it’s Amortentia. (laugh)

Meesha: Amortentia? Ok.

Scott: I thought it was Amortentia. I don’t know. (laugh) But then we got, er…

Meesha: I guess until I see the movie, so (laugh)

Rach: It’s one of the bonuses of listening to the audio. I usually know the pronunciations of some of the names that don’t actually know like, you know - what they look like.

Vince: I stick with ‘The Love Potion’

Meesha: Love potion number nine.

Scott: Yeah, we’ve got, er, Hermione describing the love potion, I’m not even going to try to say it, as in the book and reference a Ron/Hermione scene from earlier, um… A little excerpt:
When Hermione is around the Amortentia, the last thing she trails off with is that she can smell spearmint toothpaste

Rach: (laugh) That was a great moment. (Meesha: Aww…) It really was. I thought that was a really good addition. That was a perfect way of tying in, like, you know (Meesha: Yeah) her love of Ron, ‘cause it wasn’t always that obvious. You know what I mean (laugh)

Meesha: Did Ron have any reaction to that, or…? When she said that, or…?

Rach: I don’t think we not– I don’t think they showed it. But um, I – I highly doubt he would have noticed, anyway (laugh) I didn’t notice that at all. Um. But, er, it was a – they mostly focussed on her. (Meesha: Yeah) ‘Cause it was obvious that she was embarrassed by what she was saying (laugh).

Meesha: Right.

Scott: then we have a more in depth description; I believe you gave this to us as well Rachel. K, a, er, test screening attendee has given some details regarding the Potions class scene:
Now to the subject of how Harry gets the potions book. Harry and Ron arrive in potions, and Slughorn tells them to go to the cabinet to take one of the extra copies he has. They open the cabinet which has several ratty old books and one virtually new one. Harry and Ron scramble in a typical teenagish way for the nice copy, which of course, Ron gets, leaving Harry to settle for one of the tattered old ones. When they begin to make the Draught of Living Death we see Harry open his books and the camera pans over the marked up pages.

They all start to make there potion and we see Hermione and Ron struggling to cut up the so – pop – sopophorous bean. The camera then shows us the handwritten addition in the book – Harry may read it to himself out loud, I can’t remember for certain – “Crush with flat side of dagger, releases juice better than cutting.” After he crushes the bean, looking excited, Hermione, whose hair is becoming increasingly messy, frizzy and puffy, leans to him (Vince: Oh, what is up with Hermione?) and asks him how he is doing that. He tells her what the handwritten instruction says to do, and she says something like, “but that’s not in the official instructions” and starts rereading her own book frantically.

Meesha: That is so Hermione.

Scott: Yeah – When Slughorn later declares Harry the winner and presents him with the Felix Felicis in front of the class, Ron and Hermione look annoyed and the whole class claps very enthusiastically, (Someone claps) while Harry with a huge shameless grin on his face accepts the bottle of potion.

Rach: Unenthusiastically, actually.

Meesha: Yeah

Scott: Unenthusiastically.

Rach: Yeah (laugh) They looked rather pissed.

Scott: So, we have a picture then, er, another one that was released, of the potions class. Er, this one is just Harry and Slughorn by themselves, he appears to be handing him the bottle of Felix Felicis and is that correct Rachel?

Rach: Yeah. The class is on the other - you know, is looking at them, so…

Scott: Oh. Ok. We were wondering why it’s the two of them.

Rach: They’re standing in front of them.

Meesha: …those are just the different angle. So they actually have the same door on both sides? (Rach: Oh, apparently) You can see that little banner. That’s what’s confusing us all.

Rach: It’s a window I think, isn’t it?

Aaron: It’s a window, yeah.

Meesha: Oh, is it a window? Ok.

Scott: Yeah, that one…

Rach: … ‘cause they were planning on having lots of windows down there. Sorry. (laugh)

Meesha: oh, yeah.

Scott: I like all these lighting in this movie…

Meesha: It’s magic. They have windows in the Ministry of Magic…

Vince: In OotP, it zooms out.

Scott: Although, isn’t it supposed to be a dungeon? Which would mean…

Rach: That’s exactly what I was just saying (laugh)

Meesha: That’s just what she just said, Scott.

Vince: The camera zooms out of that window in the last, er, movie (Scott: Yeah, that’s right) during Occlumency.

Aaron: It’s really low (– near the lake.)

Meesha: But that does work, ‘cause they had that at the Ministry of Magic. Mr Weasley told Harry that they had the windows that were done by magic – they had Magical Maintenance, and (Vince: Right.) they gave them (Scott: Oh) whatever weather. Yeah, so…

Vince: But in the last movie, it is a real window, the camera zooms out of it. (Scott: So…)

Rach: Isn’t that Snape’s office though? Like there shouldn’t be a classroom…

Vince: Yeah! That’s what I always thought too.

Rach: Yeah, I don’t know guess it doesn’t matter for the movie, but…

Scott: Then, it has been said over and over again and is very disappointing, at least for me and quite a few others. (Vince: Yeah) Um, The Defence Against the Dark Arts classes from this, er, chapter were cut and (Vince: Boo!) actually, (Meesha laughs) um, potions is the only class we see. This is the only one. There’s not even a second potions class that’s in the book with the bezoar thing, which would explain why no one would know where he got that idea (laugh).

So, then we transition to a scene where the trio sit around the common room and discuss the (Vince: Walnuts!) Prince’s book.

Vince: Walnuts!

Scott: Which, er…

Vince: With a bowl of Walnuts…

Aaron: Does it kinda go to that scene, Rachel? Does it actually go to this scene straight after?

Scott: Oh, yeah…

Rach: Oh – Oh – Oh, actually, I don’t – I’m not positive about that.

Aaron: Oh, OK

Rach: It might (laugh)

Scott: I don’t know what else would be in between… But, yeah…

Vince: There’s a bowl of walnuts.

Scott: So, yeah. There’s a picture that was released of this, um, nice high res picture and it’s the trio in the common room, um, Harry is holding out the potions book, showing Hermione something, and is this where he is showing her the Sectumsempra scene – I mean the spell in the book?

Rach: Yeah, yeah. That’s what I think, that’s what I believe – that’s what he’s showing.

Scott: Ah. OK. Hermione is reading a paper, it says “More disappearances at the Ministry” (Rach: Yeah) Do we get a close-up of that at all? Or see what it says? Or does she read it? Or…?

Rach: At some point we see a close up of a newspaper and I don’t remember when – It could have been her’s – but at some point you do see Lucius, a picture of him in Azkaban. So, I don’t – It could have been on the backside of her paper – but I don’t (Scott: Oh) – It could have been somewhere else, but I don’t know if it was there or not, but I don’t know if we get a huge view of this or not…

Scott: I think we had heard that from somebody else was at the very beginning like around maybe the bridge attack scene, or…

Rach: Yeah, that would actually make more sense, so…

Scott: OK

Rach: Um, I don’t know, um, they didn’t – you know how in OotP they had a lot of newspaper scenes at various points? This movie wasn’t filled with them that way (laugh)

Vince: Oh, that’s good…

Meesha: Ohhh. I liked those.

Vince: …way over done.

Rach: They were there, they just weren’t like, do hugely (Vince: Yeah, that’s good) in there, yeah.

Vince: ‘Cause I thought that was way over done in the last… (Scott: Yeah)

Rach: That’s what I thought too. This was not overdone. They were there, they’re just not overdone.

Vince: I mean, I like them – I like the idea, it’s just that it’s always…

Scott: We were trying to figure out what the picture – it looks like there’s a guy in, in the little picture here in the newspaper. We thought it was either Scrimgeour or, er…

Vince: It looks like Slughorn.

Rach: Cornelius, isn’t it?

Scott: …Slughorn kind of…

Vince: Oh, it’s Fudge?

Scott: “More Disappearances at the Ministry” and there’s a picture and we were trying to figure out who it was.

Rach: It looks like Fudge, doesn’t it? I don’t remember this that well…

Scott: Maybe it is Fudge…

Vince: Fudge is in the movie?

Rach: No, but it could have been – they could have been just using a picture.

Scott: There’s also an alternate view, um, that leaked online, a smaller picture of this from a different angle.

Meesha: And there’s something on the back of the paper there in green, so…

Scott: It’s green.

Rach: I’m wondering about that one too. It’s interesting.

Scott: And then…

Rach: Oh! It’s a moving picture! That’s why. (Meesha: Yeah) I don’t know what it was, but it’s definitely moving (laugh)

Scott: And there’s a couple other students in the background. And you said Ginny is in this scene? She’s just off screen (Rach: Yeah) Not seen in the picture or something?

Rach: Yeah

Scott: And she’s the one that, er, discovers the, er, oh, yeah, here we go. Um, a test screen viewer has described the context of this scene:
Later in the common room the trio sit around – Ginny is somewhere around – and Harry is reading the Potions book. He notices the spell for Sectumsempra and tries to show this to Hermione and Ron. Hermione gets upset/annoyed and says that she wants to see whose book it was. She jumps up and tries to grab in from him. Harry holds it back out of her reach but Ginny who comes from behind Harry grabs it and backs away and says she also wants to know who wrote that stuff in the book. She quickly flicks to the back and then reads out loud, “This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince.”

Vince: Who is the Half-Blood Prince?

(All laugh)

Rach: Yeah (laugh)

Scott: What do you think of, er, with Ginny then being in this scene and discovering that? I think that’s kinda a nice touch, ‘cause like she’s the one that (Meesha: Yeah) (Vince: It is) possessed by Riddle and she’s worried about it (Meesha: Right) like in the book she…

Vince: I like that they kept that in there, yeah…

Meesha: Yeah, that was – she didn’t actually read it in the book, but adding that in…

Scott: No, she didn’t read it, but she said “Wait you’re taking (Meesha: Getting) instructions from a stranger”, but was actually (Meesha: Yeah) for the Sectumsempra incident, I believe and she was, um…

Vince: No, no.

Rach: No, no, no.

Meesha: No, it was actually the (Vince: It was at the beginning…) first potions class…

Scott: Was it?

Vince: It was in the Great Hall.

Rach: That was in the Great Hall, like when finds – when he discovered who – he drops the book and sees who the…

Meesha: Yeah.

Vince: Why don’t you read the book, Scott.

(All laugh)

Scott: Well I’ve only read it once, or twice, so…

Vince: Oh.

Meesha: And you call yourself a Harry Potter fan?

Rach: You know the audio books, (Vince: It’s not about…) you can just listen to them over and over again, you know what I mean (laugh)

Vince: Yeah

Meesha: And learn how to pronounce everything.

Scott: Yeah, that’s good. I should listen to the audio books.

Vince: They’re like…

Meesha: I’ve listened to at least five.

Rach: But the audio books can ruin the movies a lot more than the regular books do, because you – like – I have a voice in mind for everyone.

Scott: Oh.

Vince: Yeah.

Rach: And he – Jim Dale – (Vince: I mean, I have my own voices in my head) with the exception of Hermione…

Scott: I’ve just heard the audio for the first one. It was really great. So er…

Rach: But Dumbledore in these books are so good.

Scott: …the very last thing, um, we have for this chapter, finishing this up (Aaron: I just added this in here) it isn’t placed correctly and we have a question about this, um. It said that there’s a small scene, ‘at the beginning’ in – in quotes, concerning Ginny’s relationship with Dean. Is it around here? Or is it earlier? Um, it says:
During Dan's interview, he commented about a scene where Ron says, in the beginning of the movie - while Ginny is dating Dean Thomas: "You have to hate anyone who goes out with their sister as a matter of principle, right." Harry, a bit ashamed, answers: “Yeah, I suppose so…”

Rach: Yeah, I think that’s in the er, the Three Broomsticks when um, um, Ginny and Dean are making out.

Aaron: Ah, Ok.

Scott: That makes sense.

Rach: I think Ginny is actually with Dean though, in this scene too, but I don’t think they’re making out, they’re just together, I think that’s why she’s not with them. Um, I thinks she’s off – but I don’t Dean was paying attention to what was going on, but I don’t remember for sure (laugh)

Meesha: Now. Is – Does Ginny – Does – The break-up with Dean happen the whole thing will the room – the Room of Requirement?

Rach: I know that they were unhappy, but I don’t remember anything about a break-up. I – I just remember – I just know that it was – Hermione keeps saying that they are unhappy together and stuff. I don’t – Maybe they did break up – I didn’t see it (laugh)

Meesha: Maybe it was – Was it Kristen who talked about the dinner party when Ginny came and said Hermione told Harry that they had broken up?

Scott: Yeah, she had red puffy eyes and said that (Aaron: No, it was just that they were fighting) they’d been fighting.

Rach: Oh.

Meesha: Oh, they were fighting, ok.

Rach: They were fighting. I don’t think they actually – Just like they never get together – They never really – Ginny and Harry never get together.

Vince: So, er, Ginny (Rach: Yes) Ginny, is cheating then (Scott laughs) when she’s kissing Harry.

Rach: Ginny seems to be making her way around. (laugh)

Meesha: Yeah. The Ginny haters will love that.

Scott: Yeah.

Vince: Yeah.

(Meesha laughs)
