Saint Columba was an Irish missionary who helped introduce Christianity to Scotland. In 563 he founded a monastery on the island of Iona off the west coast of Scotland which became a burial site for {which set?} of kings.


Frequently confused with Saint Columbanus.


He's almost always referred to as Saint Columba; since that's the common name, why not put the article on that page? See naming conventions.
