Ancylus

Ancylus is a genus of very small, freshwater, air-breathing limpets. They are aquatic pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Ancylidae (sometimes placed in the Planorbidae).

The genus is known from the Tertiary to the recent periods.[2]
