Kid Dakota is a two-man American indie rock band, formed in 2001 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by guitarist and vocalist Darren Jackson. After working on his own music during the mid 90s, "[Jackson] met drummer Christopher McGuire, and music began to flow."[1] The band considers themselves to be a mixture of rock, folk, and country. Kid Dakota have released three full length albums. The latest, A Winner's Shadow, was released on March 11, 2008.
