6'eren is a Danish subscription television channel operated by SBS TV A/S, part of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. It replaced SBS net at January the 1st 2009


The channels target audience is males, branding it self with the slogan "Denmark's got a new TV Channel - and it's for men" (Danmark har fået en ny TV kanal, og den er for mænd), or "6'eren (the 6th) Denmark new channel for men"[1]. The channel host many of the programs of SBS Net like Mythbusters, Stargate SG1 and continuing the Science Fiction Sunday that SBS Net ran in 2007 (replaced with Science Fiction Weekend in 2008). The new concepts of 6'eren is Friday Fight Night, Comedy Tirsdag (Comedy Tuesday), Mænd og Motor (Men and Motors), Film for mænd (Film for men) and Superserier (Superseries), the later meaning three popular series, airing Heroes season 2, Lost and Rome season 2[2] from the start of 2009, all of them series which has previously been aired on Kanal 5 (Channel 5),which is also operated by SBS TV A/S}. The channel also show La Liga and FA Cup soccer. Like other terrestrial (DR1, DR2 and TV2) distributed in Denmark, 6'eren does not interrupt shows with commercials, but commercials is shown between programs.

6'eren is distributed through terrestrial, satellite and cable and is available to approximately 75% of all Danish households.
