Bharti Kher (born 1969) is an artist based in Dehli.
Kher was born in London. In her work, Kher repeatedly uses manufactured versions of traditional Indian bindi to adorn cast sculptures – often of animals – and wall-hung panels.[1] Her work references identity through consumer culture, gender and race, reflecting her own background.[2]
