Andrew "Andy" Fantuz, (born December 18, 1983, in Chatham-Kent, Ontario) is a professional Canadian football slotback currently playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. In the 2006 CFL season, his first year with the Riders, he had 30 catches for 408 yards, 3 receiving touchdowns, and 1 rushing touchdown. Fantuz holds the CIS single season receiving record. He played for the University of Western Ontario in the CIS. He wore number 2 at Western and wears number 83 with the Riders.

On October 14, 2007 had 240 yards of pass receiving and three touchdowns against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

On November 25, 2007, Fantuz won the Dick Suderman Trophy as the Most Valuable Canadian in the Saskatchewan Roughriders win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at the 95th Grey Cup. Fantuz had 70 yards receiving and the game winning touchdown.

Fantuz attended John McGregor Secondary School from 1997 to 2002, where he played football and basketball.

Fantuz suffered a broken fibula, the smaller, non-weight bearing bone in his left leg while being tackled in the fourth quarter of July 27, 2008, 28-22 victory over the Toronto Argonauts. He could miss up to 10 weeks and Riders general manager Eric Tillman said Fantuz would "almost certainly" be placed on the nine-game injury list.[1]
