Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding (NGSB) is the name of the shipbuilding sector of the Northrop Grumman Corporation. The Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding sector was created on 28 January 2008 when Northrop Grumman realigned its two shipbuilding sectors, Northrop Grumman Newport News (now known as Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding Newport News) and Northrop Grumman Ship Systems (now known as Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding Gulf Coast Operations) into a single sector. Mike Petters is currently the President of the entire shipbuilding sector (formerly president of the Newport News shipyard). [1]
