Zypper is a command line interface of the package manager used in openSUSE since version 10.2 beta1. It uses libzypp.
It is free software licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2 or later.
Since the release of openSUSE 11.0, zypper has been updated and is faster than previous releases.[1][2] In openSUSE 11.1 Zypper reached version 1.0 adding a complete shell and other futures.
