Line 1: Line 1:
In [[Golf|golf]], a hook is a type of shot in which the ball curves to the same side as the player. The ball will go to the left for a right handed player and to the right for a left handed player. A hook is the opposite of a [[Golf slice|slice]]. A hook is usually a mis-hit, but is a much less common type of mis-hit than a slice.
