Leigh J. McCloskey (b. June 21, 1955, Los Angeles, California) is an American film and television actor.

Career

McCloskey was classically trained as an actor at the Juilliard School in Lincoln Center, New York.

As an actor, McCloskey is perhaps most widely known for his role as Mitch Cooper (husband of Lucy Ewing Cooper) on the CBS soap opera Dallas. He was a series regular from 1980-1982, and made brief appearances in 1985 and 1988. McCloskey has also appeared in a number of other soap series, including Santa Barbara, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless and One Life to Live, and various other film and television shows such as Jake and the Fatman, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

McCloskey has also had numerous film roles, such as the 1988 horror film Cameron's Closet.

In addition to acting, McCloskey is also a visionary artist, author and teacher. His artwork premiered with The Rolling Stones on their most recent Bigger Bang Tour. He has written, illustrated and published five books of his works, including Tarot ReVisioned, In the Splendor, Adam Reborn & Eve Restored: A Romance in Two Parts, Codex Tor:Winter Solstice-Part One and his Grimoire that was featured with the Rolling Stones.

Family

He married Carla Reinke, director, assistant director, author and production executive in 1978, and they have two children, Caytlyn Alexandra (born 1982) and Brighton Aubreigh (born 1987).
