Prof. Helen Saibil FRS is a molecular biologist based in the Department of Crystallography at Birkbeck, University of London.[1][2] Her research is largely based around molecular chaperones and protein misfolding.
Having completed a BSc at McGill University and PhD at King's College London, Prof. Saibil went on to work at CEA Grenoble and the University of Oxford. [3] Prof. Saibil has been at Birkbeck since 1989, and was elected to the Royal Society in 2006. [4]
