Revision as of 07:34, 16 January 2002

Below is a list of the page titles which have been deleted, beginning January 10, 2002. There were a number of page title deletions before that. The titles were listed on Wikipedia utilities/Page titles to be deleted, with justifications for deleting, for a while before deletion. The general justifications for deletion are listed at Wikipedia policy on permanent deletion of pages.

The following were deleted January 10, 2002.

  1. Stevie Wonder is God - title implied joke article, though entry contained an example of an incorrect syllogism
  1. WikiIsNotAnEncyclopedia - blank
  1. The Pit and the Pendulum/Page 2 - cut-and-paste of text of Poe's story
  1. The Balloon-Hoax/Page2 - cut-and-paste of old text
  1. Marilyn Manson/Bible speech -someone typed out a full speech, but it was deleted due to copyright. the page is blank now.
  1. PHrOzEn cReW - only delete this page, not the page its re-directed to.
  1. DAL - "Describe the new page here. Dalby" isn't much of a content
  1. Endlösung, EndlÃf¶sung, EndlÃösung - non-linkable
  1. Sampath
  1. ATTAN -- page read "ATTAN ialah seorang staf di CENTEPIS.. nama manjanya ialah `baby'... hobinya pada masa lapang ialah korek idung...."
  1. Boris the crazy Russian - a redirect to a non-existent page.
  1. Sudden Creationism - a made-up term
  1. The weather in Minnesota - was used as an example of a page that didn't exist; some smart aleck created it. :)
  1. Belgium/Koninkrijk - serves no obvious purpose
  1. Homepage of Sampath Suranga - some stuff from yesterday's fiasco.
  1. Wikipedians pub - nonsense by a visitor
  1. Barman - more nonsense by the same visitor
  1. Intelligent form - yet more nonsense by the same visitor
  1. Recent celebrity deaths/44 BC
  1. adamw - no content (note case!)
  1. Little blue question marks
  1. discounted_cash_flow - impossible to link to because of lowercase d
  1. Wikipedia utilities/Proofreader - an unused, and I would guess unworkable, idea.
  1. Quran of Iblis/Surah 2 - either source text or original writing, no evidence found for this "Quran of Satan" document which it is presenting the text of.
  1. Feminism Debate/Talk and Feminism Debate - abuse of the purpose of Wikipedia.
  1. Re Kevin - validity of marriage of transsexual - a good article in the wrong place - moved to Legal aspects of transsexualism.
  1. Color Talk/Red, also various other "color talk" pages. -- Duplicate info which is currently on pages of individual colors and better left there.
  1. Cow story - silliness
  1. Eep -- silliness, moved to Bad jokes
  1. Parejas-amigas - someone thought Wikipedia would be a good place to set up a website for his IRC channel.
  1. Usuarios - part of the above
  1. Pargalega - ditto
  1. AUM related to the American Union of Men entry; superfluous
  1. German names of places taken by Poland - ok, IMHO, this is a stupid page. It cannot be NPOV by virtue of the title. It is just another step in the ever-increasingly silly Prussian axe-grinder war with Poland. Jimbo and Tim, please make it disappear!!!
  1. Masculist Trinity - one guy's pet theory
  1. QIM Tunes - more of the pet theory
  1. American Union of Men - yet more of the pet theory
  1. Tom Smith - the last of it, I think
