The Bleach Boys

The Bleach Boys are a punk rock band from Hertfordshire who have been playing together since 1977.[1]

Originally known as the Fur Coughs, the group's name was given to them by noted philosopher Simon Critchley and is a play on The Beach Boys.

The Bleach Boys name was used for a backing vocal group for Wizzard's 1973 single "Angel Fingers", on which another backing vocal group, The Suedettes also sang on. The song reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart and remained in the chart for a further 10 weeks.
