Manning is the band associated with singer/songwriter Guy Manning assembled at various points throughout his writing career, and finally created as a permanent assembly in January-May 2008.

The main difference within the Akoustik line-up is that Bass Guitar player Kris Hudson-Lee plays an upright stick bass rather than the bass guitar.
