"Eddie Shin (born July 17, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois) is a Korean-American actor. He landed the role of Roger on That '80s Show, after playing recurring roles as Henry Cho on Gilmore Girls, and Stanley Mao on ER. Since then, Shin has also played roles on Spike Lee’s Sucker Free City, Girls Club, Malcolm in the Middle, Pushing Daisies, NYPD Blue, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and various other television programs.

Shin was student body president at Loyola Academy. After graduating from high school, he attended Williams College considering a career in medicine, but then became interested in acting. He transferred to the University of Chicago after a year at Williams. In Chicago, he interned at the famed Steppenwolf Theatre, where he would eventually perform. He has done shows at various other regional theatres such as the Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Court Theatre, and Appletree Theatre. He originated the role of Felix in E.S.T.s premier of Sasha No Home.

Eddie lives in Los Angeles, and has performed in various theatre productions with East West Players and Lodestone Theatre Ensemble. In 2008 he appeared as Terry Phoo in Phoo Action, the television adaptation of the comic-strip, Get The Freebies. The show would go on to win a BAFTA for best New Drama series. In 2009, he landed the role of Martin Hu in the Showtime series, End of Steve."
