The Grammy nominated Multi-Platinum Miami bred producer / song writer Cainon Lamb was destined for success. Known as the son of a preacher, his involvement with music started in the church at the age of four by beating on the walls as church members sang. Eventually, this landed him the role as a drummer in the church band. As a youth, Lamb continued in music and excelled in sports, particularly football through which he earned a full scholarship to Florida A&M University. During his tenure in college, The All-American wide receiver Cainon Lamb was given an MPC aka "Beat Machine" as a gift from his late mother Regina T. Lamb. He utilized his musical background to create music for his local Gospel Rap Group called "Against da Grain". In 2001 after receiving his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice he went on to play professional football. While traveling to games with his team, as a hobby he took his music equipment with him and started honing his craft by creating and perfecting his own songs.

As a record breaking leading wide receiver for the Florida Firecats, Lamb and his team went on to win the 2004 Arena championship Cup. Later that year Lamb's music caught the ear of Grammy award winning artist/producer/songwriter Missy Elliott who was given a beat CD through his affiliation with a local Miami rap artist named Lil Brianna. That same beat CD held a track which became Lamb's first major song placement on American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino's 2004 debut album "Freeyourself".
