Garcha Family name of Punjabi Jat Sikhs believed to be originated from village Kohara, district Ludhiana, Punjab. Now Garcha's live all over the world in many countries, including other districts of Punjab and other states of India as well.
Garcha Jatts are a branch of Tanwar rajputs.Tur Jatts are their kins.
They are thought to first ruled over Delhi in the 11th century, then settled in Ferozpur area then later in Ludhiana area in around 12th century.Before moving to Panjab, planes of Jamuna river around Delhi was their home.
