The Guild cares for the resting places of many Music Hall, Variety, Vaudeville, Musical Comedy, Theatre and Pantomime artistes that include [[Nelly Power]], [[George Leybourne]], [[Albert Chevalier]], [[Joseph Tabrar]], [[Lupino Lane]], [[Edmund Payne]], [[Gabrielle Ray]], [[Tom Costello]], Tom Leamore, Johnny Danvers, Bessie Bellwood, Arthur Albert, Nellie Navette and many more.

The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America is a registered theatre charity and non-profit making theatre organization based in London.

Founded in 1985 by theatre director/designer Adrian Barry, the activities of The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America are :

  1. To advance education through the presentation of Music Hall and Theatre Productions and encouragement of the Arts,
  2. To advance education in the history of Music Hall and Theatre performers by undertaking research and identifying, restoring, erecting and beautifying memorials which are of educational Interest[1].

The Guild cares for the resting places of many Music Hall, Variety, Vaudeville, Musical Comedy, Theatre and Pantomime artistes that include Nelly Power, George Leybourne, Albert Chevalier, Joseph Tabrar, Lupino Lane, Edmund Payne, Gabrielle Ray, Tom Costello, Tom Leamore, Johnny Danvers, Bessie Bellwood, Marie Loftus, Arthur Albert, Nellie Navette, Tamamotto Chiyokichi, Lily Long, and many more.

The Guild are currently restoring the former Variety Artistes Benevolent Fund memorial stone in Streatham Park cemetery which commemorates over 200 Music Hall and Variety performers buried there. [2].

In July 2009 the Guild restored the memorial to the music hall star Lupino Lane at Streatham Park Cemetery and to mark the 50h anniversary of his passing, they staged a Memorial Service at The Actors Church, Covent Garden with a reception at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Honorary patrons include Shani Wallis, Mark Lester, Jessica Martin, Adrienne Posta, Lorraine Chase, Sheila Ferguson, Nick Wilton, Jack Seaton and Sara Lupino Lane.
