360 State Street is a skyscraper currently under construction. When complete, it will be the second-tallest building in New Haven, Connecticut and the largest apartment building in the state.[2][3] The 300 foot tall mixed-use building will include 500 luxury apartments which will sit on top of 77,000 square feet of retail space. Designated a "green" building by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), it is the first residential building in Connecticut to gain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum status and includes a rooftop garden.[4] A full-scale grocery store will occupy the building's ground floor.[5]
