This template is being designed as a replacement for Template:Language to comply with Wikipedia:Avoid using meta-templates and to improve the overall usability of the infobox. It makes use of CSS to hide certain structures if they are undefined. This technique may not hide these fields on certain text-only browsers, like Lynx.

This specific template is intended to meet the specific needs of sign languages.
