Scrumy is a company founded in 2007 by three freinds, Mike O'Malley, Dan Kordik and Robert Brend. While working together on another project Scrumy was born. As they worked they were using the Scrum method to organize their project but the darn cheap sticky notes kept falling off of the wall. As a way to replace the notes Scrumy was created. A nice, clean, simple, web-based, digital sticky note wall that nothing could fall off of.

After a short time it was realized that others around the world had found Scrumy and had begun using it for the exact purpose that it was designed. From this the guys changed plans and decided to further Scrumy. After a few months of work it was time to try to bring Scrumy to the public. It was small and uneventful but they had made something that they thought people may want.

The initial launch was simply a better looking, less buggy version of the original site. As time progressed more features were added, primarily to the Scrumy Pro product. These features included a clean, easy navigation dashboard, a project history, burndown charts,live updating and an API. Although the product has seen some changes the goal has always remained the same. Keep it simple, easy to use and intuitive.
