SMPlayer is a multiplatform multimedia player front-end for MPlayer. [4]

Windows
As of version 0.6.7, SMPlayer is distributed with a Nullsoft Scriptable Install System generated setup (previously Inno Setup). The installer is capable of downloading and installing the latest MPlayer and MPlayer codec packages during setup, although an alternative installer is available with MPlayer included for offline installs.[6]
Linux
In addition to the Windows version, there is a version for Linux.[7]
