He is author of numerous published articles on the history of [[Bulgaria]] and the [[Bulgarian Jews]]. 1972 his book "The Bulgarian Jews and the Final Solution" has been published, which earned a very positive echo in Bulgaria and in Jewish circles. The book describes the tactics and tricks of the Bulgarian leadership and public to save the Bulgarian Jews from deportation to German death camps. This was the only case that the entire Jewish community of a German ally survived during the Second World War. No chance had the Jews living in the regions ceded to Bulgaria (Macedonia and Thrace), which have been deported under German pressure. |
