His edgy-soulful technique has really set him apart from other singer/songwriters. Tommy Stanley graduated from [[Kirbyville, Texas]] and then joined the United States Navy in 2006. Stanley got his first break being casted on [[NBC]]'s [[Nashville Star (season 6)]] placing 8th out of 65,000 people. He released his first album "City Lights" in 2009 and is writing for a new album.
