Judith Shekoni (born 1978, Manchester, England) is a British actress.

Television and Film

Judith Shekoni (Judi Shekoni) is a successful British Television and Film actress now based in Los Angeles.

Her career in entertainment began with the BBC TV Series Casualty. She then appeared on every major television channel in the UK, working with prominent names and established shows - her UK television work includes Fat Friends, Hollyoaks, Perfect, Attachments, Hallmark series The Hidden City, Jason and the Argonauts and movies such as It was an Accident and Maybe Baby.

In addition to acting Judith hosted her own TV show for Carlton 'Eye TV" where she Sky Dived, Shark Fished, drove Tanks and interviewed the likes of Tom Hanks and Arnold Schwarzenegger. As a voice artist she became the voice of Orange phones across Europe and her acting work lead to campaigns for brand names such as Wrigleys and Stimoral. In Argentina she appeared on Celebrity Fear Factor helping her team to Victory winning thousands of dollars for charity through various feats of stamina and endurance.

Judith is best known in the UK with her attention grabbing turn as Precious on the UKs no1 Television show Eastenders for the BBC. Her central storyline caught audiences attention and instantly made her a household name - covers and spreads for Cosmopolitan, Vogue, FHM and GQ ensued. She quickly followed this television work with the movie Echoes of War playing a heartbreaking lead role as a refugee from Sierra Leone.

Upon relocating to the US Judith guest starred on Syndicated show King of Queens, and continued to appear regularly on Top US TV shows such as Navy NCIS (CBS) Brothers and Sisters (ABC) and All of Us (CW). She shot a pilot for Fox entitled Damages opposite Cole Hauser and then was asked Mike Darnell of American Idol to host her own Prime time Fox TV show entitled "When Women Rule The World" 12 episodes were shot on location in Fiji.

Judith continued to book more high profile roles, next up Garfield 2 for Fox opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt. She followed this comic turn by taking the lead in the Sex in the City style movie Private Moments and then entered the Horror genre opposite Tony Todd in the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Judith got the opportunity to show her comedy abilities once again when cast opposite Will Sasso, Sara Rue and many of the Mad TV cast in the comedy feature For Christs Sake shot in and around LA and in 2010 Judith was announced by Summit Entertainment as taking on the Role of Zafrina in the Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn, due to be released in two parts over 2011 and 2012. Zafrina is the leader of the Amazon Coven, and is a particularly talented vampire with the supernatural ability to create visual illusions.

Judith is an Entrepreneur and author as well as an actress.

In 2005 she launched her first company www.MakeitAmerica.com which is a site dedicated to helping actors relocated to America to pursue their careers. Following on from her experiences she was keen to create a way for others to learn from her mistakes and gain from from her knowledge. The company led to Judith writing and publishing her book on the same subject "The Entertainers Guide to Living and Working in the USA"
