Palubari

Palubari is a small scenic village near Sankhu in the outskirt of Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. which is just 17 kms. far from the Capital city of Nepal. Historically, it was on the Nepalese traders route to Lhasa (Tibet) and was thriving for its vitality. The area was first settled in the Licchavi era, and remained as a satellite of the Sankhu village. One can still see the signs of Sankhu's former prosperity including ancient building, temples (Vajra Jogini being the most prominent one) and woodcarvings in the area. Until the 17th century Palubari used to be the ginger field of the Kings of Bhaktapur and others. In the local Newari language, 'Palu' means ginger and 'bari' means 'horticultural land.'Ginger is still a very important produce of the peasants of this area. Palubari is also the resort of Nepal's many senior lawyers based in Kathmandu valley. Palubari is developing its infrastructure in a rapid motion. This village is also one gateway to Nagarkot (one of the famous tourism place of Nepal). This Village is not so far from the capital city but this village is under developed village of Kathmandu. 'In Palubari all types of religion are found and most of them are BRAHMIN & CHETTRI'. Most of the villegers are depend upon farming. None one try to do another business like Horticulture, Poultry Farming, and Fast money farming like seasonals farming.

There is not any Higher secondary School only one Lower Secondary School Goverment School is in Palubari but some other community schools are providing good and quality school, one of the community school SANKHU PALUBARI COMMUNITY SCHOOL is well established lower secondary school. According to the Principal '''Anoop Poudel this school provides free quality education to all the financially disabled and underprivilidge children from local area of Palubari and other VDC and also some childrens from Bhaktapur.

There is no any College and Campus where Students can get higher Education.
