Yiannis Melanitis is a Greek artist born in Athens in 1967.[1] Yiannis holds degrees in Painting (prof.X.Botsoglou), Sculpture (prof. G.Lappas) and a Masters degree in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts. He is a PhD Fellow at NTUA, Athens School of Architecture.[1]He was elected as a Lecturer at the Sculpture Dept. of the Athens School of Fine Arts, May 2010.

Works and Exhibitions

His works include an interactive performance Kryographia, The Conductivity of Writing, ABOUT, Athens, October 2010, Dans Le Jardin d’ Epicure/ Les elements comme des metaphors, personal exhibition at the Psychiatric Hospital of Geneva,(Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève) Switzerland, March 2006. Also, Pleasure Machine which was performed at the House of World Cultures in Berlin.[2], Touch Terrain at Monaco Dance Forum, a multi-user interactive environment 2006.
