Yes we do, see [http://www.ammado.com/nonprofit/wikipedia].
Unfortunately we do not at this time, but if you have a credit or debit card you can donate in US dollars or any of the currencies we do accept and a conversion will be performed by your bank.

Questions about donations

How can I donate?

You can donate online by credit card or PayPal easily. We also accept donations by mail, bank transfer, Moneybookers, SMS text (charged to your phone bill; US only), and donations of stock. See wmf:Ways to Give/en for more information.

Do you accept donations in Indian rupees?

Yes we do, see [1].

How will my donation be used?

Donations are primarily used to fund staff costs and technology costs. See also wmf:FAQ/en#Where_does_my_money_go.3F.

Why don't you just run advertisements to fund your site?

During the 2009 fundraiser the Wikimedia Foundation promised that Wikipedia will remain "Ad-Free Forever". We are committed to the ideal of free information available any time, anywhere and with absolutely no restriction or influence from prospective advertisers. Accepting donations provides us with the independence we need to achieve our mission.

You can read more about the Wikimedia Foundation's values at wmf:Values, and further arguments against advertisements at Wikipedia:Advertisements#Arguments_against_adverts.

My donation was rejected or did not process

Please email donate@wikimedia.org with details of the amount, date, and time of your attempted donation, and any error message you received. Please do not send credit card details by email.

Wow... if you really knew what New World Order ment, you would realize you have to be smarter than the rest, your just trying to say everyone els is wrong... check your mind and realize NWO is the order of who gets it first... truth be told

My donation processed multiple times

Please email donate@wikimedia.org with details of the amount, date and time of the donations, your name, and how much you would like to have refunded. Please do not send credit card details by email.

Can I get a receipt for my donation?

If you donate by PayPal, an email receipt is sent automatically for all donations and this serves as your receipt. A receipt is sent for mailed donations of over $50 if a return address was provided. For all other donations, please email giving@wikimedia.org including your contact information and the date, method, and amount of your donation.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, in the USA. If you live in Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Poland, or Switzerland, please see wmf:deductibility of donations for further information. If you live in any other country, then unfortunately donations are not tax-deductible at this time.

My donation comments did not appear

Please be patient, as the system can take a while to process all the comments. You may also want to check subsequent pages, as if many donations come through at once, they may displace existing comments quickly.

I would like to donate equipment/bandwidth/web hosting/etc.

Please email donate@wikimedia.org with details and it will be forwarded to the right people.

Haven't found what you're looking for?

If your question is not answered above, please check wmf:FAQ/en; if your question isn't answered there, email donate@wikimedia.org. Please provide as much information as possible. Please note that this address only deals with queries about donations, and questions about articles or other onsite issues will either not be answered or forwarded to the appropriate team, delaying resolution of your query.
