New York City Diesel is a sativa-dominant strain of cannabis. It is the offspring of Sour Diesel crossed with Afghani and Hawaiian indicas. Its effects are similar to Sour Diesel, providing excellent cerebral high with a taste of body high; However, it’s not quite as potent as its parent strain.

Soma's New York City Diesel is a pungent sativa with invredible yields. Soma added some Hawaiian and Afghan indica influence to the popular, almost purely sativa Sour Diesel. This raises the hybrid's calyx quotient - NYC Diesel becomes a colossus or airy bud formation with very few leaves. Soma reports indoor yields of up to 100 grams per pant with some extra vegging. The strain favors indoor cultivation except in tropical climates, although good yields have been reported in the semi-arid climate of Southern California.
