Adelino André Vieira Freitas (born 24 January 1986 in Guimarães), commonly known as Vieirinha, is a Portuguese footballer who plays for VfL Wolfsburg in the Fußball-Bundesliga, as a winger.

Ambidextrous, he started playing for Porto, but spent most of his professional career in Greece with PAOK.

Vieirinha began playing football in 2000 when joined formed in the youth ranks of Vitória de Guimarães, Vieirinha caught the interest of F.C. Porto and eventually finished there his football grooming.

After a six-month loan at Portuguese second division's Marco, he joined the first team for 2006–07 and Vieirinha was given a four-year professional contract keeping him until 2010.[1] On 18 October 2006, he made his debut in the UEFA Champions League, coming on as a substitute for Ricardo Quaresma in a 4-1 win over Hamburger. However, Vieirinha just made 8 appearance where Porto retained the league champion.

Vierinha played his first official game for Porto on 11 August 2007, in the Portuguese Supercup against Vitória de Setúbal, subbing in at the 70th minute, and scoring the game's last goal in the 89th, in a 3–0 final result. VfL Wolfsburg

With a short statement on 3 January 2012, PAOK announced the club had come to terms regarding the transfer of Vieirinha to German side VfL Wolfsburg. The player signed until June 2015 for 7.500.000 (3.500.000 to the player and 4.000.000 to the club),[7] and made his Bundesliga debut on the 21st, playing 45 minutes in a 1–0 home win against 1. FC Köln.

International career
