Chris Janson (born ca. 1986 in Perryville, Missouri) is an American country music singer.

Chris Janson (born ca. 1986 in Perryville, Missouri) is an American country music singer. Chris Janson gained initial notoriety in Nashville, his first year in town. Playing daily and nightly at Tootsies Orchid Lounge. He was soon garnering much critical acclaim for his outstanding performances. In early 2005 he was signed to Chrysalis Music Group Publishing, out of Los Angeles. He then started a music career, by writing songs. His writing credits a wide range of musical collaborations. Which range from original members of Guns and Roses, to the legendary icon songwriter Whisperin Bill Anderson. In 2006 Chris was involved with Jonathan Demme, and Neil Young. As a guest in "Heart Of Gold." Chris was portrayed and staged as a street musician, toward the mid-beginning of the film. From 2007-2009 Chris toured with Hank Williams Jr, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Serving as the support act on the first two years of The Rowdy Frynds Tour. He signed to BNA Records in October 2009[1] and released his debut single, "'Til a Woman Comes Along," in April 2010.
