Crayon Pop (Hangul: 크레용팝) is a five-member South Korean girl group formed in 2012 under Chrome Entertainment. The group consists of Gum Mi, So Yul, Cho A, Ellin, and Way.

Career

Debut

The quintet debuted on June 24, 2012 with the release of the music video for their first song “Bing Bing”.[1] On July 17, 2012, they released the music video for their second song "Saturday Night".[2] Their first single "Saturday Night" released on July 18, 2012 which included both songs along with a remix version of "Saturday Night".[3] The girls made their official stage debut the following day on July 19, 2012, performing "Saturday Night" on Mnet's M! Countdown.[4] The group released their second single "Dancing Queen" on October 23, 2012, which consists of a new song "Dancing Queen" and a remixed version of "Bing Bing".[5]

Trivia

Cho A and Way are identical twins, making Crayon Pop the fourth K-pop group to have twins. The other three groups that have twins are Shyne, I-13, and Boyfriend
