Weesaw was a war chief of the Potawatomi. One of the locations where people assoicated with him lived was at what later came to be known as Gard's Prairie in Volinia Township, Michigan.^[1] He was the son of Anaquiba. He was married to a daughter of Topinabee.^[2]
