The Bologna Center Journal of International Affairs is an academic journal founded in 1997. It is published by the European campus of the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. The journal provides a forum for the discussion and the dissemination of ideas about events in the field of international relations.
The journal seeks to present a policy-focused perspective on global affairs that can be appreciated by academics, students, and policy-makers. Highly technical language and equations are discouraged. The theme of its 2014 edition is 'Stalemates'.[1]
Published annually in May, the journal is edited by graduate students and has attracted work from academics and policy-makers. Previous editions have featured Francis Fukuyama, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and David Unger.[2]
