Citizens is from Seattle, Washington, and they are based out of Mars Hill Church, which is one of their record labels.[1]
Citizens is a high-energy indie rock band from Mars Hill U-District. Born in the heart of Seattle’s University District, Citizens has quickly built a reputation for their dynamic hymn arrangements and high-intensity anthems. Deacon Zach Bolen leads the band with a visible emotion and passion that stems from a desire to see everyone in the U-District worship Jesus as Lord.

The band released an EP that was called Already / Not Yet EP on May 8, 2012, which was done only on the Mars Hill label.[3]
Citizens
Their first full length studio album was released on March 12, 2013 -- Citizens, which was done on both the BEC Recordings and Mars Hill Records labels, and was produced by Brian Eichelberger.[2][3][4]
