The June 16-17, 2014 tornado outbreak is an ongoing tornado outbreak in the United States that, has mainly affected the state of Nebraska. Pilger, Nebraska was drastically impacted on June 16, with two deaths and sixteen critical injuries having occurred as a result of an EF4 tornado that struck the town. The tornado was paralleled by a second simultaneous tornado nearly identical in appearance to the one that struck the town. A large EF3+ affected areas near Stanton, Nebraska as well.[1][2]
